What to Wear / Bring to Classes
Our school colour is black and students are usually asked to wear this colour for performances (apart from our mid-year Concert which is costumed). All classes must wear SA★PA uniform for exams and our end-of-year Showcase (exam requirements are given at the time of entering).
For weekly classes, we allow students to wear coloured dancewear provided it fits within the guidelines given below.
All students should bring a bottle of water to class with them. Drama & Singing students should also bring a folder for their scripts and lyrics.
Affordable items of Dancewear and Uniform can be purchased from our Uniform Shop which is open during term time:
Monday-Friday 4pm-6pm
Saturday 9am-1pm

Star Tots (ages 0-3):
Our Star Tots classes do not have any set uniform requirements. They are welcome to wear any comfortable clothing to their classes. Dancewear is encouraged, but not compulsory.
Foundation & Junior Starz (ages 4-7):
While it is not enforced for this age group, we strongly encourage that students wear fitted dancewear for Ballet, Jazz and Acro. Due to the back-to-back classes, we understand that it is not possible for dancers to change from Ballet attire to Jazz attire, so we would recommend that girls wear a leotard and then bring a skirt for Ballet and shorts or leggings for Jazz. Neat grooming is still strongly encouraged and long hair should be tied back.
Performing Arts Academy (ages 8+):
